Float & fund requests
Your float is your agent wallet: the electronic money you give customers for their cash at cash-in, and receive back when you pay out cash at cash-out.
How your float moves
| You do | Your float | Your cash drawer |
|---|---|---|
| Cash-in for a customer | Goes down by the amount | Goes up: you took their cash |
| Cash-out for a customer | Goes up by the amount | Goes down: you paid them cash |
| An approved fund request | Goes up | No change |
Keep enough float
A cash-in can't go through if your float is lower than the amount. Top up before busy hours.
